ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, WORK AND FATE OF ARCHIVES OF ROMAN CATHOLIC MONASTERIES IN BELARUS AT THE END OF THE 18TH – FIRST HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY.
In the article, the “monastery archive” is understood as a collection of documents formed during the existence of a particular monastery and related to the main directions of its activities as well as its personnel. The article analyzes specific features of monastery archives, methods of their replenishment and storage, as well as the fate of these document collections in the 19th century.
