МЕТОДЫ ПАЛЕОДЕМОГРАФИЧЕСКИХ ПОДСЧЕТОВ
(ИСТОРИОГРАФИЧЕСКИЙ АСПЕКТ)
В статье рассматривается история палеосоциологических и палеодемографических исследований, проводившихся советскими, а после 1991 года российскими и украинскими учеными на основе материалов различных первобытных культур. На данный момент существует два подхода к построению моделей палеодемографических подсчетов, основывающихся на двух типах памятников – поселения и могильники. В статье перечислены как положительные, так и отрицательные факторы, влияющие на результаты таких подсчетов.

METHODS OF PALEODEMOGRAPHIC ESTIMATES (HISTORIOGRAPHIC ASPECT)
The article discusses the history paleosociological and paleodemographic studies of the Soviet and, after 1991, the Russian and Ukrainian scientists based on the materials of the various prehistoric cultures. At the moment, there are two approaches to building models of paleodemographic calculations based on two types of monuments – settlements and burial grounds. The article lists both positive and negative factors influencing the results of such calculations.
