КОРСИКАНСКИЙ ПЕРИОД В КАРЬЕРЕ НАПОЛЕОНА БОНАПАРТА
Наполеону Бонапарту посвящено множество научных и научно-популярных работ. Но его жизненный путь изучен неравномерно. Основное внимание уделено уже состоявшемуся полководцу и государственному деятелю. Когда он был первым консулом, а затем императором, сведения о нем в изобилии отражались в самых разных документах, как официального характера, так и личного происхождения. Другое дело- юность и молодость гения. О его блестящем будущем тогда никто и не догадывался. Отсюда – невнимание окружающих к словам и поступкам Бонапарта в корсиканский период. О них вспоминали позднее, во времена его славы, приукрашивали произошедшее, забывали важное. Автор статьи попытался непредвзято разобраться в наполеоновской проблематике. Для этого он избрал темой исследования становление личности и формирование взглядов своего героя.

THE CORSICAN PERIOD IN THE CAREER OF NAPOLEON BONAPARTE
Many research papers and nonfiction works are devoted to Napoleon Bonaparte. But his life’s journey is studied unevenly. Primarily researchers deal with the years when he was an accomplished commander and statesman. When he was the first consul, and then the emperor, information about him was abundantly reflected in a variety of both official and personal documents. The youth of the genius is quite a different thing. Nobody knew about his brilliant future then. Hence the words and deeds of Bonaparte in the Corsican period were not paid attention to. Later at the time of his glory people remembered them, embellishing what had happened and forgetting important things. The author of the article attempted to study the problem impartially. For this, he chose the formation of personality and views of his hero as the subject of the research.
