ERNST JUNGER IN THE FRENCH FOREIGN LEGION

The article is devoted to the study of the life of a prominent figure in the conservative revolution during the years of the Weimar Republic Ernst Junger. The problem of his service in the French Foreign Legion in 1913 is examined. This aspect is an understanding of the spiritual crisis of the Wilhelm youth on the eve of the First World War and its desire to get out of the Kaiser morality by fleeing to the Foreign Legion. The points of intersection of the biography of E. Junger with his thoughts on participation in the Foreign Legion are emphasized. The article analyzes the ideological position of the German conservative thinker E. Junger.
