COMMUNIST PARTY OF AUSTRIA IN THE FIGHT AGAINST NEO-FASCISM IN THE POST-WAR YEARS OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY

The paper deals with the struggle against the neo-fascist movement in the Second Austrian Republic during the first decades following the end of World War II. The objective is to analyze the neo-fascism phenomenon in Austria leaning on the works of well-known Russian historians: S.F. Vititnev, I.G. Zhiryakov, R. Opitz, M. Falter. The novelty of the study lies in its focus on the neo-fascism issue that remains the priority vector of history studies when it comes to its methods and structure in the context of Austrian internal policy.
