AMBER COAST IN THE AGE OF ATTILA
The evidence presented in the article from archaeological and written sources consistently shows the participation of Germanic and Baltic inhabitants of the vicinity of the river delta. Vistula in the Hunnic wars on a rather short historical period — during the era of Attila’s rule, respectively — in the middle. V century AD The contact of the Аеstians and part of the northern Germans with the population of the Danube during the Hunnic Wars was based both on the amber trade and on the desire to acquire Roman wealth. Some of them fell into the hands of warriors, natives of Northern Europe and the Baltic States, and together with them, returning to their homeland, ended up in the land of the Prussians.
